About Me

Stephen Harris lives in North Yamouth with his wife Alison, his daughter Robin, a dog and a cat. His son Ben is away at school in the University of Glasgow. He has been working for Cuddledown, in a variety of capacities, since 2000.

Before that, he was a home-dad for 13 or so years, along the way logging countless hours volunteering in various classrooms, working with the Cub Scouts, doing photography for the Cumberland Fire Department, running the now legendary breakfast grill at Donatelli’s in Yarmouth, and all the usual fatherly pursuits. What got him from home-dadding (the best job he ever had) to the paid workforce is a long story. He’s glad to tell it, but this is perhaps not the best forum.

Suffice to say, he has been working in several aspects of retail for too long, and would love to move into more meaningful work, some sort of paid position with an agency or organization that serves the needs of children and their families.
